Let's go fly a DIY kite

Kites. A beautiful way to get the kids playing outside and tire them out as they run around in circles trying to get that thing to fly!

Instead of heading to the store to pick out something generic, have your kids create their own kites with one of these easy DIY projects. You probably already have most of these materials around the house, so it should be easy to prep for as well.

1. Box Kite // 2. Tetrahedral Kite // 3. Festival Kite // 4. Paper Kite // 5. Tissue Kites 

This list includes just about something for every age group and ability level. The Box and Tetrahedral kites are probably more on a tween level, but the paper kite is a super easy DIY that gives kids complete control over their kite's style.
