Did your family turn in to watch the brand new COSMOS reboot last night? As a fan of the original series with Carl Sagan, it was exciting to see such a flashy, shiny reboot for the new generation. Let’s all fall in love with space together! (You can watch the trailer on YouTube in case you aren’t familiar.)
The first episode was great. I loved the way Neil DeGrasse Tyson used a regular monthly calendar to explain how the universe has grown. Such simple teaching tools that any age can relate to. There’s also an iPhone and Android app to download and dive in a bit deeper.
